Resurface Their Old Works and Find Gold

Dear Readers, I have noticed my older stories and poetry are being read again. Thank you. I admit I do not understand all of Medium’s circulation algorithms, as I am a relatively new writer here. I have yet to create a subscription service (it’s in the works).

We all love the newest best seller. It is lining all the shelves, right? An author’s BIG BREAK may be your introduction to the artist. Or a new title by an author you love may just be a reminder to go back and re-read or finally dig into an old novel you’ve been meaning to read.

The treasures are in the past work. Look at how an author came to be. Delight in the earlier works hidden in the back stacks, in archives, in literature anthologies, and collections.

Curation may be harder to come by now with Medium’s rules. We are no longer able to republish our earlier work in hopes of a bigger audience. Thank you Shaunta Grimes for making the rules easy to understand.

For now, I look forward to scrolling through your collection straight from your Medium Profile. How wonderful to go back in time and discover your words and stories from before.
