What I’m thinking about right now:
I was just in a community meeting where we process what is happening in our individual worlds and in our school community. But we also talk to create connections around the events of our world, especially in relationship to calling out white supremacy and building a better world for our kids. I am so grateful for this community where I am both a parent and an educator.

One of the members of the group works as an ICU doctor at a local hospital. He is exhausted from working with covid patients. But what got me in the gut tonight was this: He said, “You just can’t keep up with the death…
